Very Proud

So it was parent teacher conference time again. Tyler was first and let me say I was very proud and very impressed with his improvements from last semester. He has improved on his behavior some more, so much more that he gets to go to the "Big" party. He has missed the last couple parties so this is a big deal. He is also doing great in his other subjects. He got 100% on attendence and got a gift certificate to eat free at TGIF. He also got the scholorship award for doing good on his subjects. Then it was Kyle's turn and let me tell you I love his teacher so much better this year than the one he had last year. I don't even want to talk about last years teacher for Kyle. So on with the best news, Kyle got straight A's again! He also is doing great on his behavior at school. He got the scholorship award, the 100% attendance award and the citizenship award, to name a few. We all had to sit there for a while and try to think of something he could work on, it's kind of hard when he has mastered everything. All and all I was a proud mom when I left the school. Tyler got to take his awards home tonight but Kyle's awards weren't ready so when I get those I will post the pictures.

The Joy Of Fall

So when we got home, there happened to be a big pile of leaves on the grass and it didn't take long for Kyle and Tyler to jump right in. Here is a little video, hope you like it.

Tyler Lost Another One

So Tyler has had a loose tooth on the bottom of his mouth for a couple weeks now and finally today he lost it while we were out to dinner. He was very lucky he didn't swallow it, it happened so fast. He was so excited that he placed his tooth under his pillow the minute we got home.

Hockey Night

So I got some tickets from my work for the Utah Grizzlie's Hockey. I took my mom because she is the biggest fan of thiers. This was a girls night, no kids except for everyone else's kids screaming. As least they were not mine. It was a very good game, the score ended up being 5 to 2. Utah Grizzlies won!!! There were a few good fights and a few annoying people but all in all it was a great night. Here is a pic of the grizzlies after they got a goal. Oh and did I mention that they were great seats that we had, right by the ice.

Life Size

So since Kyle was such a huge fan, the guy showing the car gave this to kyle to take home.

Kyle's Dream Comes True

So I went home and got kyle's nascar coat before I went and picked him up at school. I then just told him that we were going to Walmart, smart as he is he asked why we weren't going to the one by our house and I told him that they didn't have what he wanted at that one which could have been true and could of not. When we got close to the walmart that had kyle busch's car I told kyle to close his eyes until I told him to open them. I stood kyle right in front of kyle busch's car and then said open and you will see the look on his face. It was also cool because before they car packed up the car he gave kyle a life size kyle busch stand up to take home. It funny also because not just me but Heidi & Mike and my Mom all told the guy that kyle was coming and that he was a really big fan. Here are the pictures we took.

Kyle Busch's Car In Utah!!!

So my friend christina comes by and tells me that kyle busch's car is at the walmart down the street from where we work and dorky me says oh the little one or the big one and she is like no, the actual car he races in so I ran down there on my break and took some pictures and I even got to sit in the car! I am also going to suprise kyle by just telling him that we are going to walmart and I will be posting pics of kyle by the car as well.

9 years ago today at 8:22 a.m.

On November 14, 1999, the birth of Kyle Anthony Arnes Jacobs was happening. I was becoming a mom for the first time. I had gone into labor at about 2 a.m. on the November 13th. I had no idea what labor was like because he was my first baby so I just started having some pains in my back and when they wouldn't go away so I called the doctor and sure enough they told me to come in. We had happened to have Ashley with us so poor thing had to be dragged to the hospital at 3:00 a.m. but she didn't seem to mind much because she was exited about the new baby. It didn't seem long in fact only 4 hours of real labor and Kyle Anthony was born at 8:22 a.m. weighing 8lbs 13 ozs and 21 inches long and bald as bald can be but he was beautiful. I was a MOM! This picture was taken this morning after he opened his presents, can you guess what he got?

Just Had To Share

Ok, so I may be a big dork for posting this but I just wanted to share with everyone our new carpets. Get this, my husband picked them out and I think he did a great job. I don't think our place has looked nicer. We recently had the carpets cleaned and funny enough my husband and I were on the same page. He called me on the phone and mentioned that we should get some rugs and I was like, I was thinking the same thing. We are rarely on the same page about that kind of stuff so it was nice for a change. He even is talking about getting me a new table. Good thing I wanted to get the carpets cleaned huh! Don't you think my husband did a great job on picking out the carpet! I do and I guess that is all that matters.

Here Comes The Snow

So this morning was the first actual snowfall that stuck and made a mess of things. I got to work ok this morning because it hadn't gotton to bad yet, but it really started to snow really hard while I was at work. I was lucky because by the time I got off work it had stopped. When the boys and I finally got home and were walking to the door, dylan stops in his tracks and just stares at the snow. This is the first year he has really noticed it and taken an interest in it. So I let him down and he stood there just staring at it. I finally told him to touch the snow, go ahead touch the snow and so he finally got the courage to touch the snow and he was like oh cold! He then started shaking his hands and his body like he was freezing. It was so cute, you had to be there to hear him. Here is a picture of him checking it out with his brother Tyler.
