Kyle fractures his thumb

So 2 games before the end of Kyle's jr jazz basketball he was playing outside at home and jammed the ball into his thumb, it started swelling and turning purple so I knew something was wrong. We ended up in the instacare and then got the news that he had bruised it really good and that he had to wear a splint for a week, by the time we got home, I had a message on my voicemail that said they looked at the x rays closer of Kyle's thumb and it was in fact fractured and that he had to wear the brace for 3 weeks! I was upset but poor Kyle was devastated. He was out for the season. He still got up and went to his last 2 games to support his team. I was so proud of him. He picked himself up and dusted himself off so to speak.
