Tyler's 8th Birthday

So 8 years ago today Tyler "finally" came into this world. why i said "finally" if you don't know is because he was suppose to come into the world on Dec 8th but decided to stay in for another 2 weeks! So we had Tyler's day, we went to the movies and saw Planet 51 and had popcorn and drinks then we headed to Chilli's to eat Lunch and then it was off to the store to buy his birthday presents. I also made some lemon cupcakes and Tyler picked Spagetti to eat for his birthday dinner.

Dylan Learns

The Kyle and Dylan Dance

So this is so cute, Kyle and Dylan have this little dance that they do together. Dylan will stick out his leg and just laugh and then Kyle will do it and he will laugh some more. Here are some pics of the "dance"

Kyle's 10th Birthday!

So I took Kyle out for his 10th birthday. First I took him to Walmart where he picked out some stuff and then we headed off to see a movie, he picked "where the wild things are". After the movie we headed to Chilli's to eat. He had pizza and he ended up getting a free dessert (white chocolate cake) YUMMY! He shared with his mommy. Kyle has really turned into a great young man. Here are some pics of Kyle. Enjoy!

New Addition To The Family

On November 7, 2009 we added a new member to our family. Chloe Michelle Ashcraft. My sister had to fight off people at the store till I got there but in the end we won, we got to take home Chloe. Chloe is 5 months old and very beautiful. She also loves to cuddle and sleep on me. I love her already and so do the kids, even the husband is loving her.

My New Neice Fernanda

So when I gained a sister n law I also gained a neice. Although my sister n law came to america from brazil, fernanda could not (at first) They had to go through alot of legal paperwork but it finally paid off. We got together for sunday dinner on October 18th and that is when I finally got to meet fernanda. She is a great little girl, full of energy and very friendly. I love her already and so do the boys.

Our New Home!

So my husband and I finally took the plung into homeownership! We bought a home on September 24rd 2009. It's a 3 bedroom possibly 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, 1 bath (that will change quick), a huge backyard, a living room, family room, and a dining room and a basement. Much more room that what we are living in now. I have to say I feel now that I have not failed my kids anymore, giving them a home instead of a box to live in but you know what not one of them EVER complained. I have great kids!

Kyle's New Job

So Kyle is in 4th grade this year and in 4th grade they have the safety patrol program. Well Kyle was picked to be in the safety patrol. He was very excited about it and I know he will do a great job. He was sworn in on September 2nd. When I heard that he was sworn in, I almost cryed. I was so proud of him.

The Boys start school

So it's that time again, school is finally starting for Kyle and Tyler. Kyle is starting 4th grade this year and he was hoping to get the only guy teacher at his school but he didn't so he was a little bummed. Tyler is starting 2nd grade and him and I both were hoping that he didn't get the teacher he got but he did! I sure hope she has changed because I am not going down that road again with her. Long story short, Kyle had this teacher and she was nothing but mean and rude and made Kyle feel like he couldn't do anything right.

Kyle Lost A Tooth

So it's been a while since one of the boys lost a tooth. Kyle told me a few days ago that it was loose. Well tonight was the big night, it finally fell out. He showed me that it was hanging there (gross) and then said he would go pull it out. A minute later he had it out. Time to play the tooth fairy. Apparently Tyler knows the truth but Kyle doesn't. The truth about the tooth fairy that is. I was glad this tooth came out because now his big tooth can come in.

Kyle Gets Stung Again

So we were hanging out at my friends house and the kids were playing outside and Kyle comes in screaming. I look at his leg and at first it looked like a spider bite because it had 2 puncture wounds but then I emailed the picture to my husband and he said it probally was a hornet. I first put ice on it and then when we got home I gave him some benadryl. I googled hornet stings and sure enough that is what he got stung by. I also read that they don't loose their stinger so they can sting more than once which is what this one did. The reason I say he got stung again is because not even 3 weeks ago he was stung while camping with his dad. I am thinking that hornest and bees must like him. Anyway, I couldn't find the bottle of benadryl that I already had so I had to run to the store at 10 o'clock at night and get a new bottle. He woke up in the morning with nothing but a little red on his leg. I was so relieved because when he was a baby he was stung by a bee by his eye and his whole eye ended up swelling shut.

Dylan's 1st Dentist Appt

So I took the boys to the dentist today and it was special because it was Dylan's first time. It didn't go as well as I had hoped. He didn't have a nap at all so he fell asleep on the way to the dentist and then when we got there he was still out like a light and then it was time for him to sit in the chair and all heck broke loose. He didn't want anything to do with it and this is the kid that loves to brush his teeth. I blame it partly on not having a nap though. So I had to sit there and pry his mouth open so the dentist could some what check his teeth, from what the dentist said he was pretty impressed with Dylan's teeth. We will see in 6 months if I was right.
