Tyler Fractures His Toes

So yes 3 days before Tyler is suppose to play Jr Jazz Basketball he goes and fractures 2 of his toes! He was jumping and then jammed his foot into this chair that just happens to be filled with sand! He has to wear a "shoe" for a month. It is winter time so walking to school in the snow with crutches should be a bit of a challenge. He is a trooper though! I mean he has had 3 sets of stitches in his lifetime, he knows pain.

So I never really took or let Dylan go out in the snow. I am not sure why but this year I did. I bought him snow boots and I had a old snow suit that was Kyle's hanging around and it just happens to fit Dylan. I took him out the day after we had the storm. He loved it, his favorite part was sticking his gloves in the snow. I am sure he will be out again soon!

12 years ago today

12 years ago today Kyle Anthony Arnes Jacobs came into the world. He was 8 lbs 13 ozs. He was bald but very cute. He changed my life for the better that day. We threw a party for him last night, most of the family got to come and celebrate. We had pizza and basketball cupcakes and ice cream and little smokies. Kyle got money and some candy for his birthday this year. We are taking him to Chilli's for his birthday dinner. He also picked to spend his money at the sports store fanzz. He bought a Utah jazz sweater, a jersey, hat and headband. He left very happy! He also signed up for Jr jazz for his birthday.

Hawaii

So I finally get to go to Hawaii! I can't wait, I am so excited. I am going with my sister n laws Paige and Martianne and my mother n law Nancy. We are going for 1 week. I get to live one of my dreams, snorkeling! I am nervous but way excited too. I will of course post lots of pictures of my adventure in Hawaii. I was able to go on this trip thanks to my work for providing me with free airplane tickets and for my awesome sister n law Paige who invited me. Till I post again! Aloha!

Changes For Dylan

So Dylan started kindergarten and he had a rough start as anyone would that does handle change very well. Being on a track system is going to be rough for Dylan. First week of school was rough, learning all the new rules, meeting the new teacher etc...and then the next week they went off track for 3 weeks! He then went back to school and mind you he only does half day kindergarten and the rest of the day he spends at daycare. I really HATE half day kindergarten! What is the point! Anyway, a week or two after he goes back we find out his teacher is leaving! Great! Another change for Dylan. (remember he doesn't handle change well) I really liked his teacher too, she was understanding and very nice and helped Dylan work through his issues. I really hope his new teacher is the same way!

Dylan Graduates Preschool 2011

Well Dylan made it! He had a rough start at the beginning but by the middle of the school year he was doing everything, writing his name, his abc's and numbers. He had a great teacher and as you know that always helps. Dylan graduated from preschool 5/20/11.

Easter 2011

So after a little trouble planning we managed to have a easter egg hunt. we had it at my mom's house which used to be my grandma's house so that was special in it's self. Everyone was able to come and so it turned out to be great. my mom and ashley hid eggs in the front yard for the two youngest (Dylan & Kilee) and then the rest in the backyard for the older kids. All the kids had a great time and ended up with lots of eggs. here are some pictures I took of the day.

Dylan Lee Turns 5

So 5 years ago on April 12, 2006 Dylan Lee Ashcraft came into the world. He weighed 9lbs 9ozs just like I did when I was born. He had a little blond hair. He was my first baby to be born in the afternoon. Dylan was born at 1:55 p.m. Dylan enjoys reading books, doing puzzles and watching shows, backyardigans, LeapFrog, Dora, Diego and Blue's Clue's. He started Preschool in October 2010 and it was a rough start for him but he has gotton so far now, he knows how to write his name, he knows his alphabet, his numbers, shapes and much more. Sam and I made up this book for him, it had his name, his family (mom, dad, sister, brother, cat etc...) and his phone number and his hair color and eye color and he had that book learned in 1 day! He is so smart but he is on the shy side. Hopefully with time he will not be so shy but that is part of what makes him Dylan. I love him and he will always be my Buddy Boo!

Dylan's Favorite Thing To Do

So the story starts with Dylan's brother Tyler. Tyler got an Ipod touch with his christmas money and birthday money. Tyler later started to put music on it. I should tell you that Dylan has loved listening to music for quite a while now but he would just listen on a regular radio but that wasn't working very well because he would play the cd's so much that they would start messing up ( skipping etc..) but when Tyler got his Ipod Dylan started wanting to take it and he would just start the music and listen to it because he realized that it would never mess up on him. I knew right away that I had to find something for Dylan similar to the Ipod because no way was I buying an Ipod touch for a 4 year old so I went and searched on google (thank you google) and found this music player from fisher price at amazon.com (thanks amazon.com), ya you think fisher price (baby toy) but no, it's built for 4 to 7 year olds and it's tough, the music sounds great and you just download the music right from your computer! no cd's nessesary! problem solved. I was a little nervous that Dylan wouldn't like it because it doesn't look exactly like an Ipod touch but he took to it like a kid seeing candy for the first time. He loves it!

Kyle won his game today 15 to 1 and he made 2 shots, 1 that I got on video. he also made many assists too. he is becoming a great BB player.

Easton Jax was born January 2, 2011. he weighed 7lbs 14 ounces and 20 inches long with some hair on his head. he is also going by the name EJ.
