Dylan's 2nd grade field trip

West valley elementary took Dylan and his class to the zoo on May 9th 2014! I was able to join them. You can tell Dylan is more comfortable with his new class, he wanted to take pictures and he wanted to be near the other kids, it was so awesome to see!

So Dylan started a new school today, West Valley Elementary.  He also got to ride a school bus to school.  I think he was having a little anxiety in the morning but by the time he got on the bus he was happy.  I then got this email from his new teacher, everything good! Total opposite of his old school.

Home Depot had a workshop for kids with Autism, Dylan loved it! We also got to meet Jim Matheson.

7 years ago today

7 years ago on April 12 at 1:55 p.m. Dylan was born. To celebrate this year we woke up and let Dylan have a cupcake then he went off to daycare and then to school. At lunch time I brought cupcakes and juice to his school for him and his class. He then helped me bake his own cake! Then we got pizza for dinner and then had cake and ice cream after. We are going to the zoo tomorrow morning and then bowling in the afternoon to celebrate his birthday. We are also having a BBQ Sunday.

Build A Bear

They came out with an autism bear and I just had to get it for Dylan. He had a lot of fun at build a bear. He named the bear blue.
