Binky All Gone Or Maybe Not
Well as you all know, dylan has been a binky baby. When he turned one I decided to wean him off it. Well it didn't go so good but I did end up weaning him off it during the day. He only took it at night when he went to bed. Well yesterday I went to put him to bed and I could not find a binky for the life of me. I looked everywhere, but no binky so I told him binky all gone. He has this thing where when he is done with something or can't find something he say all gone over and over. So I thought well I will try that with the binky and guess what he was ok with it, he even slept through the night. I thought wow it was that easy! Ya, I was kidding myself. He happened to find one and ya when I tryed the binky all gone again, IT DIDN'T WORK! I guess it is back to square one.

Christmas Morning
So the boys were all up by 6:00 a.m. and ready to open presents well at least 2 of them. When we finally got started opening presents Dylan was not in the mood to open after about 2 presents. We would hand him a present and he would push it away, so I ended up opening most of his presents. LOL. Here are some pictures of the boys opening presents.

Tyler's Day
So instead of throwing a birthday party, sam and I just took tyler out for the day. I had my mom and dad watch Kyle and Dylan. First we took Tyler to the movies. We went and saw Madagascar 2 and of course enjoyed popcorn and a drink. Then we headed off to TGI Friday's for lunch. Tyler had pizza and then as a suprise I had the waiter bring Tyler a sundae and they also sang happy birthday to him. After lunch we took Tyler to Walmart where he bought his birthday presents. He bought a sword, a bakugan and a SpongeBob DS game. He left the store a happy kid. Enjoy the pictures.
7 years ago at 10:31 a.m.
So if you don't know the story by now, I will tell you. My original due date was December 8Th, but as you can see he didn't decide to come out till December 20Th because he was forced out. I was induced. why may you ask I wasn't induced earlier? ya ask my doctor (oh that's right she is not my doctor anymore). He came out blue as a smurf and blond as the sun. Since he had overcooked as some would say he came out 10 pounds!!!! I should of known by the way he stayed in until he was ready that he was going to be stubborn. He is now in 1st grade and still stubborn as ever. He is very smart though and is in the top of his class. Sam and I are taking him out for his birthday, he wants to go see Madagascar 2 then go eat at training table and then hit Walmart for his present and then we are doing the cake and ice cream tomorrow at grandpa and grandma Ashcraft's house. Here is a picture of the cake I made for Tyler.

It's the little things that matter
So Kyle let me open my Christmas present early and yes there was a reason why. It was a wreath made out of plastic bags that he made at school and he wanted me to enjoy it for this year. I love it! First because It was made from my son's hands with love and second it was way cute! It's the little things that matter. I made my dad a ladybug a long long time ago, back when I was in school and to this day he has that ladybug on his desk at home. Let me tell you a little bit about this ladybug. First of all it's a rock that was painted. It is the ugliest thing ever but for my dad it was something I made with my hands and was given to him with love and that's what matters not what it looks like. Kyle also gave me a finger nail file and not just any file, but one that says Special Mom on it. Tyler gave me a ring which ended up breaking but it was the thought that counted. The though that tyler spent his 75 cents on my ring instead of candy or something was special in itself. I guess what I am saying is my boys may drive me crazy alot but they do love me and they show me that they do in little ways. Here is a picture of the wreath that kyle made me.

The Results So Far
So Kyle came home with the biggest smile on his face. He has made it into the final round. There was 9 kids running for class president and now it's down to Kyle and a little girl named Abby. They now get to throw campain parties. That is all for now, stay tuned! Here is a picture of another poster he made and this one was done all by himself.
Kyle 4 Class President
So I pick Kyle and Tyler up from school yesterday and Kyle jumps in the car and says guess what mom! I am running for class president! I was so proud because a year or two ago he would of never had the courage to try something like this. He tends to be shy like his mom but he is finally growing out of that stage. He is really growing up. So I called Kyle's dad and asked him if he could help Kyle because I was not good at that kind of stuff and luckly he was home and was very happy to help Kyle. I have never seen Kyle so excited about something (besides Nascar) before. So here is the speech that his dad and him came up with and some pictures of his campain posters.
Hello Class I'm Kyle Jacobs, and I am running for class president. Here are some of the reasons I think I should be class president.
The first thing I would do as class president is help those who need help with their work.
Next, I would also be sure that we get all of are class jobs done everyday
Also, with your help I'll make sure the classroom stays clean everyday.
As president, I think we should all write down an idea for games to play during p.e. Then each week we draw out an idea from the box to see what game we will play.
